Purpose: Guide users on how to manage and enable email notifications after activating their account.
Overview: After activating your Honey account, you can control which email notifications you receive. Notification preferences are managed in your user profile and can be updated at any time.

Step 1: Log in to Honey
Go to the Honey login page and enter your email and password.
If you haven’t activated your account yet, follow the steps in How do I activate my account? before proceeding.
Step 2: Open your profile settings
- Navigate to the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select the black circle with your initials.
- This will open your account settings panel.
Step 3: Select your notification preferences
Within your profile settings, you’ll see notification options.
To receive email notifications, toggle on the notifications you would like to receive.
Common notification types may include:
- New candidate – When a candidate is pending phone assessment
- Site referral – When a candidate has been referred to your site
- Missed candidate call – When a candidate has returned your call
- New message – When a candidate sends you a message
Simply switch the toggle on or off based on your preferences.
Tip: If you are not receiving expected emails, make sure the relevant notification is turned on and check your spam or junk folder.Step 4: Save and manage updates
Your notification preferences update automatically when toggled. You can return to your profile at any time to adjust your settings.
Troubleshooting
If notifications are enabled but you are not receiving emails:
- Confirm the correct email address is associated with your account
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Ensure your organization’s firewall is not blocking emails from
