How can I use browser calling?

Modified on Sun, 3 Aug at 5:34 PM

The Honey platform includes built-in browser-based calling (VoIP) so you can contact candidates directly from the platform—no phone required.

This feature allows you to make and log calls using your computer's microphone and internet connection. Below, you'll find step-by-step instructions (with images) for how to place a call, track call activity, and troubleshoot common issues.

Before you begin: Make sure your microphone is enabled and you're using a supported browser like Google Chrome.

1. Click "Call options"

2. Select "Browser"

3. Make sure your microphone is available and test your sound (optional)

If you need help with this, read our article: Turn on Microphone for Browser Calling

4. Click "Start call"

5. Move the green icon around as needed to see your full screen

6. Click "End call" when you're ready to disconnect
