Why is the entered ZIP or postal code not accepted?

If the ZIP or postal code is not accepted in Honey, it may be because the code is not resolving correctly through the location services used by the platform.

This usually means Honey cannot match the ZIP or postal code to a valid location. It may happen if the code is entered incorrectly, has extra spaces, or is not recognized by the location service.

What should I try?

First, double-check that the zip code or postal code was entered correctly.

If it is still not accepted:

  • Check for typos, missing characters, or extra spaces
  • Verify the ZIP/postal code in Google Maps. If it resolves there, the issue is likely with our service
  • Try the closest valid zip code or postal code for the same area
  • If you are updating a candidate, confirm the correct location details are being used

In many cases, using the nearest valid postal code is a solution for the issue.

Still need help?
