How to Clear Browser Cache

To delete/clear the cache in Google Chrome, you can do the following: 

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner
  3. Click More tools
  4. Select Clear browsing data
  5. Choose a time range
  6. Check the boxes next to Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data
  7. Click Clear data

You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Del to open the Clear browsing data window. 

 

To delete/clear your cache in Microsoft Edge, you can use the Settings menu or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Del. 

 

Using the Settings menu 

  1. Open Microsoft Edge
  2. Click the three dots in the top right corner
  3. Select Settings
  4. Click Privacy, search, and services
  5. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear
  6. Select the types of data you want to clear
  7. Click Clear now

Using the keyboard shortcut 

  1. Open Microsoft Edge
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Del
  3. Select All time from the Time range drop-down menu
  4. Select the types of data you want to clear
  5. Click Clear now

To delete/clear your cache in Mac Safari, Using the Preferences menu 

  1. Open Safari
  2. Select Safari > Preferences > Privacy
  3. Click Manage Website Data
  4. Select the sites to remove data from
  5. Click Remove or Remove All

You can also use the keyboard shortcut Option-Command-E to clear the cache.
