What are Program Insights?
When your study is part of a program in Honey, you’ll see a dedicated Program Insights tab in the platform. This dashboard provides high-level and cross-study analytics to help you manage recruitment across multiple cohorts, studies, or regions that are part of the same program.
Think of Program Insights as the umbrella view, offering you a centralized place to monitor overall performance, compare studies, and identify opportunities for optimization.
When programs are used
Program Insights is available when your study is grouped with others in the same:
- Therapeutic area or indication
- Multi-cohort protocol
- Platform, umbrella, or adaptive design
- Recruitment campaign across similar populations
What can you see in Program Insights?
While specific visualizations may vary depending on your program configuration, typical insights include:
Program progress
- Total referrals received across the entire program
- Trends over time, by study or cohort
Candidate sources
- Funnel metrics source or channel
- Conversion rates by source or channel
Funnel performance
- Pull-through rates (self-assessment opened → self-assessment completed → transferred to a study) across all studies
- Breakdown of candidate outcomes for each of the early funnel stages
Filters available
You can filter Program Insights by:
- Time range
- Site or region
- Referral source/channel
This allows you to quickly drill into specific areas of interest while maintaining the full context of the program.
Why use Program Insights?
Benefit | Description |
---|---|
See the big picture | Understand how each study contributes to overall recruitment |
Identify outliers | Spot underperforming sites, lagging cohorts, or top-performing channels |
Optimize in real time | Use insights to adjust marketing spend, deactivate sites, or scale volume |
Retain more candidates | Understand drop-offs and enable reassignment between cohorts |
Good to know
- Program Insights complements, but does not replace, the Insights tab within each individual study. You’ll still want to visit those for deep dives.
- If something looks off (e.g., totals not adding up), check this guide: My study is part of a program – why are some of the funnel percentages over 100%?
